Thank you for this. Works under NOP 3 with QT4 and does exactly what it needs to do to make my life as a primary teacher easier Very Happy At this point of term that is really important.

Hi Kevin,

I don't know whether any of these would be relevant to the age groups you teach. Some are definitely for younger children, but there are several different anagram games as well.

Hi Muggins

These look great! Sadly I am not yet using puppy in the classroom if I was then these would be good to use. I use puppy at home as my main system but only played with it in school Sad Do let me know of any other educational software you find!

Cheers

Kevin

I haven't tried using this:

but as it's javascript, you would probably just need to open it with a browser.

Hi Muggins

Looks workable. I prefer the wordsearch creator's design though as it is really clear and straight forward.

Two days to go!!!!

Cheers

Hi Muggins

I have moved to Puppy 4, partly due to your VYM package, and am running openbox and lxpanel. Wordsearch installs fine, runs fine however it kills lxpanel when it runs! Any ideas?
I'll play with some other set ups and see i f the same thing happens.

Cheers
Kevin

Kevin,

No, sorry I haven't a clue as to why it would be crashing lxpanel. I don't know whether you've got the relevant devx development environment for your pupversion, but if you did, you could try running:

Code:
gdb wordsearch
run

as this might give more clues. It also be interesting whether other qt4-based apps have the same problem.
