using the enclosed omya.jpg as a wallpaper background (using the stretch option)
in Dingo beta2 I am able to see directly into some sort of visual cache
(I had to restart x 3 times to get a plain wallpaper again)
The effect is quite cool - I enclose two 'ghosting' backgrounds that appeared . . . they seem to be leaking from Seamonkey browsing . . .
and have a tendency to change . . .
It seems that a visual cache is hovering between unreality and manifestation
The usual authorities have been informed . . .
Update:
The ghosting is linked to Seamonkey crashing
Seamonkey seems to be crashing/slowing after 1 -2 hours of heavy usage
I restart X windows
- the wallpaper then changes . . .

I just found that restarting X
even when Seamonkey has not crashed
changes the background to include some
image from the Seamonkey cache of latest browsing
I am not quite sure what is going on
Could someone verify the effect
(A kindly ghost buster)
or suggest what possibly could be happening?
To me it seems unusual that two programs
Seamonkey and the wallpaper display
are interacting in some way . . .
What sort of code would do that?
What is the code that displays the wallpaper?
How is it combining with the Seamonkey cache?

I had a motherboard which only worked underclocked at 333mz
which I recently gave away
Most of my hardware is sanctified
and therefore priceless
. . . Mind you think how many tins of sardines I could buy
[m m m . . . tempted]
For now I will light a candle and chant nonsense
as it is always fun . . .
