Sub_title: become compatible with Slackware 12.1 and maybe Dingo

I just did it, and have no long-term experience yet.
So do this at own risk, and BACKUP YOUR SAVEFILE first Exclamation

I also did not do it in Puppy 3, but in Muppy 0083b, that has more libraries than Puppy 3.
I recently also had compiled several other libs.
So if you have bad luck, it will not work for you.
But I think, there is a good chance, that it will.
It is quickly tested.

Download from:

If you run Python 2.5, you also might want:

Extract them to own folders, like "gtk" "glib" "xml".
Copy the included install/doinst.sh one folder up.
In that folder, right-click (if you use Rox-Filer), -> Terminal here

In the consolewindow type:
bash doinst.sh

Now package as .tar.gz the folders etc and usr in "gtk" "glib" "xml".

Then extract them in "/".

Thats it.
Abiword and gxine still work, so I think if such complex applications still work, also others will.

I just was able now to compile the latest versions of Glade and Gtksourceview Smile

Like this you also might be able to run Gtk-applications from Dingo.
