Wireless Atheros Ar5007EG

Hi, I am just starting my new life without windows. I was pretty confident in windows but I know absolutely nothing about linux. I just got puppy 4.0 on my laptop, a stock toshiba Satellite A135-S7403 and have puppy running but can't seem to get my wireless card, Atheros AR5007EG to work. It is on the PCI bus and I don't know enough about linux to even understand what other threads are talking about. Someone please talk to me like I am an idiot, it's the only way I'll understand. Thanks!

The AR5007EG is a recent variation of the Atheros chipset, and is not supported by the current release of the MADWiFi driver.
Due largely to the fact that this chipset is found in the popular ASUS Eee notebook, discussion on the MADWiFi forums has prompted a patched version of the MADWiFi driver, and this driver is now available for Puppy 3x here

tempestuous doesn't specifically mention puppy 4, which I know has 'issues' with wifi, as it's still growing/developing
