Logitech wireless mouse

Hi: my Logitech wireless mouse worked fine in Puppy 3.01 but it doesn't in the new 4.0 - am using an Acer laptop. The touchpad works fine but not the wireless mouse. Is there something I should be doing differently? Thanks. John
