puppy: 3 with old kernel works, but with new kernel it doesn't. Dingo (4) with kernel 2.6.21.7 also hangs in cycles like this.

The mouse pointer stops or text does not get printed on screen even if I type. Then mouse and input works. Around 4 seconds functional, 4 seconds freeze, and so on.

Does anyone know how to solve this?
