wireless profiles

where are the profiles from the network wizard stored?
I have a profile that works with wNOP. I set up a new save file after I rebooted (running in RAM) I got my card working (redownload drivers and instaled). but I cant get the connection to work. I would like to copy the profile from the save file that works to try in my new save file.

EDIT: I got it working I don't really know what I did differently to make it work, my guess is I have a network key that has a typo? and if you try to enter it a hundred or so times it gets reproduced??? :roll: I would like an to know where those profiles are stored so I can try to avoid this next time. thanks

I know this has been answered not too long ago, but can't remember where exactly.
Maybe by using the puppysearch link in my sig, you can find it.

Yes nipper that was the one.
By this shr1k is adviced as well.

P.S. could you make a link clickable, much easier for everyone.
To do so, in the composition panel select the link and push on the URL tag.

I know how to make a link clickable, it is my choice to not do so. It is not my opinion that it makes it "much easier for everyone". I look at it that anyone who wants to use it can copy and paste. I might link a URL if I thought I was dealing with a rank newbie, but I know you are not. I have no quarrel with your opinion, nor am I likely to change mine. However, if the forum software is ever optioned to automagically link URLs, I won't try to defeat it. Shalom.

thats what a I was looking for. The thread that was referenced described some problems similar to what I was having. I rebooted and tried to delete and/or save a new profile many times I might have done the steps in just the right order the last time.

My reply (not reaction) was setting boundaries. I expressed my different opinion. Apparently you are not as able to accept my opinion as I am to accept your right to yours.

My willingness to help the poster is the only important aspect to my posts. Did you note that I did not try to send the OP off to another search site and that I did give the needed URL? Even when you checked the URL you didn't post a "link" to it, so you don't "do as you say". I did not try to send the poster off to give a hit to another search site, if I was going to suggest searching I would suggest the one in the forum where the hits contribute to financing the forum itself.

You follow up one patronising post with another patronising one, that tells me about your personality.

I am neither inexperienced in forums, or life.
