WavSplit is a command line utility for Unix and Windows that can be used to split huge WAV audio files. The tool is realesed under GPL license.

the zip file contains .exe app for windows (you can using in Linux via wine) and source code to compile in Linux

I'm not able to compile for Linux from source code, by the way, with wine this app seems work fine

I got it to compile in Puppy 4. It just complained during make with this:

make: mkdep: Command not found

I just created an empty file called mkdep like this:

# touch /usr/local/bin/mkdep
# chmod a+x /usr/local/bin/mkdep

After that it seems to compile just fine.

Here's the executable compiled in Puppy 4.

- moved to /usr/bin/

it works fine also on Puppy 3.01. Thanks
