MATH PUP 2.15ce

#1 Post by cb88 »

you can mirror this if you feel it is stable enough...
The site i uploaded it to claims to have never deleted an upload

http://Upload4Ever.com/download.php?sr=e0ad81123 <<broken

http://www.filefactory.com/file/f5887c/ <<works ~250kbs at university

http://www.sendspace.com/file/klwhk7 <<works fast but might not connect first try ~750kbs at univerity (they have teh fast connection :-) )

It has just the R language and Scilab also uses the wii black GTK theme by default.... and my vista blue icewm theme (is is my puplet after all ;-) )

sagcad is included...

addtional xmms themes and 11mb of tracked music (highly compacted)... in /root/puppy-reference/audio many thanks to the artists that contributed to them... you can find more info about the authors my googleing for "modules music"... for the next version people who use MATH PUP may suggest better music ... some of it i like and some is cheesey :-)

also mrxvt has been added

and the gnu/puppy wallpaper from meanpup was added in (how to I prevent the loss of the backgroudn setting when remastering?)

Pfind updated to 2.6 even though it still says 2.5

almost forgot devx_215.sfs was also remastered in.

I plan to release an improved version based on 2.14R in Q1 2008
A wobbly MATH PUP version may also materialize if a 2.14R based wNOP comes out based on lxde or some light weight alternative to xfce

If you use MATH PUP please tell me what you think and how improvements cen be made

cb88,

THANKS for this derivate !!!!

I download the iso (checked the md5sum OK) and start to probe it from a live CD.
Very , very insteresting software you put on it, and your icewm modifications are beatiful.

But, (always are this but)...
I can not use internet because the network wizard on MATH PUP have a bug.
It did not found my nvidia internal network chip.
Normally puppy, (puppy215CE, puppy2.17.1; puppy3.01) found and load the forceneth driver and I have my net configurated normally, so do internet.

Please, if you have time to check this and give me a help with this.

Thanks very much for your work.

pdrito.

got on the internet by loading in the wrong pup_save, one saved from living water pup. Now, how do you change rxvt so you can see it?
faint letters on black are hard to read. typing rxvt -bg white opens another window that stays white for half a second, then goes black with faint letters, and an error about can't find a font.
