Checked directory structure in osmo-0.16-i486.pet using pet2tgz :
osmo-0.1.6-i486/usr/bin/osmo ...instead of... /usr/bin/osmo
Hello Maddox,

that's how it should be internally. I'm wondering if the osmo-0.1.6 .pet you downloaded got corrupted somehow. It should be 225k( 229484 bytes) in size.

Hi muggins,
The size posted was the /usr/bin/osmo binary in the i486.pet.
and I downloaded the pet from here
Also, the file you sent me -> osmo-0.1.6.tar.gz also worked without a hitch :)
Do you have a link to the osmo.template file for osmo version 0.16 ?
It's the starting translation file that contains all the english lines to translate...
I will try to re-translate & see if the french characters display correctly.

Thanks for the files, and your time

Thanks very much for that..
I will proceed with localisation issues and utf-8.. -> locale fr_FR.utf8
Man, I wish it was an easy process to set-up (puppy/translations) for utf-8
but then again, MU is running into the same probs, and he's smarter than me ;)

Many thanks to the silent ones, & the puppy community

Cheers,
maddox

If Osmo would record equipment instead of persons, you get a Puppy database,
Simply tanslate colums names as you need
First name > Model
Last name > TradeMark
and so on... task to do are Repairs, controls (for you car ?)
