How I got the microphone working on Asus EEE

Hi

I finally got the microphone working on the asus EEE, I am running 2.16 but this should work for all puppies with the 2.6.18.1 kernel, not sure about puppy 3 and up.

I followed jamesbond's post for updating alsa

But I updated to alsa-driver-1.0.15 and had to reboot twice to get all of the controls to show up in Puppy Volume Mixer.

The only other thing I did was to add the line
options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-dig
to /etc/modprobe.conf before the reboot

I have only tested on skype test call so far.
