Any news of Puppy 3.02?
Barry is working away on the innovative Dingo (aka Puppy 4)
Some of the programs will be found in 3.02 hopefully?
Barry, we need the 3.02 Beta to start implementing and testing 3.03CE
which from the way Economoney (Robert Simpson) has been organising and
preparing will ensure a stable and usable Puppy
for real world computing - Talking Stick
Others (myself included) are straining at the leash
to release new 3.02 versions of their puplets . . .
In fact I am keen to use Dingo for Tmxxine Photon
(a programmers puplet) as soon as it reaches Beta . . .
but that is another story
Any news?

Where can we ask for improvements?
I'ld love to see gxine replaced by a frontend that can read external subtitles. Probably most of non-english spoken people want that...
And why not also replace almost every burning tool for pburn?

as burning goes pburn and Grafburn should replace most of them.
I think alienjeff mentioned K3b well that will never happen because you need kde stuff and it blows the size to 80MB just for 1 burner, ummm never.
If someone was keen enough they could actually figure out what is actually needed by k3b and make a package, the reason why i say this is that when you install k3b with gslapt it downloads tons of extra programs that about 1/2 actually work but aren't actually needed by the burner, its just extra overkill! I would take a guess that 30% is actually needed by k3b so it could actually be around the 24mb mark total! If someone could make it that small I would use it in my Main Fire Hydrant releases.
Next Gxine what a waste of time, Yes I've seen that mplayer was being used in the puppy alpha 4, I do like that idea, but lets not forget about xine, that does actually work right and lets also thing about VLC, VLC is a great backup media player that plays windows video streams with a bit of url hack. But as size really matters then i personally would go with xine and maybe add a nice skin on it, actually to tell you the truth I've been reading about Xmms and now they have a video plugin for it, I think xmms is the best audio player and if you could get the video going on it, That would be the best default media player for puppy, hands down. As long as you can get all the proper video codec's for it. Maybe trying it in the beta version of puppy could be nice?
Oh one last thing will you please replace those old calculators with Galculator, Really its used by just about every Distro, its way better to looking, and the only one maybe to keep is Pconvert.
Anyways have fun
