Bluetooth, rfcomm, Nokia 3250 .... I'm crazy!

#1 Post by Vaklin »

So .. Last 24 hours.
Done:
1. RF communication with my Nokia 3250. Bluetooth for $6 from nearest computer store works fine.
2. ObexFTP works fine. Itself found the channel where is OBEX interface, so -B option does nothing.

The problems:
1. Doesn't matter what is inside the rfcomm.conf rfcomm never bind to the device automatically. Of course, "bind yes" is on the first line. Someone knows why?
2. After binding rfcomm to device's channel 2 (dial up network) want to use rxvt with /dev/rfcomm0. Many different ideas ... no success. How I can type manually AT commands to my phone? BTW, is this phone AT compatible?
3. Someone knows how to access restricted memory in Nokia Symbian phones? I mean address book, SMS's. Nokia PC suite can do this, why we can't?

Yeah!
Nokia is on my legs!!!

Can transfer files. Can make voice calls and hang up them. Probably can read and send SMS's, but this for tomorrow.

Now should find someone to prepare a beautiful front-end application...
