There was a recent distro on distrowatch.com based around GO - a game once explained to me by (probably) a being from another continuum. It is a game I should learn again, the rules were simple but it did not always appear to have an objective. Certainly looks like fun . . . Any GO fanatics?

the object of the game is to control more territory (area of the board) than your opponent

the rules and object of the game are relatively simple ... but it is not easy to master

Hikarunix (based on DamnSmallLinux) has more Go programs

some links: 1 ... 2 ... 3 ... 4

i uploaded a dotpup for the Gnu Go 3.7.5 engine

if you want the Graphical Interface (gui) you need to install the Gnu Go 3.6 package too
(if you already installed it, you do not need to install it again)
