Opera Widgets don't display correctly Subject description: Who's to blame? |
|
I installed Touch the Sky widget. It displays fine except it isn't transparent over Opera or the desktop - has a large dark rectangular background which overlays the background. In Windows this is transparent.
Bad boy! (Opera, Widget maker, or Puppy?)

It's the fault of the United States. I mean, WTF ... we're getting blamed for everything else in the fuggen universe. Opera Widget fanbois may as well pile on, too.

as far as I know this issue is not solved yet from opera.
I had the same problems even with dri and xcomposite and xrender activated, others reported the same.

Thanks |

Thanks for the update.
Alienjeff: sadly I'm afraid there's some good reason to blame the US for certain events in the known Universe, but not for events in the known unknown Universe, or even in the unknown known Universe .... How things could have gone so wrong when it's all based on one of the most inspiring documents of the last millenium!
Don't take it personally!
Regards

alienjeff. I like your website. I am also into radio (ham radio especially). I agree with you that television has basically become less than garbage. As for Opera widgets. I don't bother with them. The browser works perfectly. Don't mess with it.

How polite! |

Thank you for your politely expressed invitation - such a clear use of the English language. I was impressed.
