Are native wi-fi drivers in puppy 2.14 portable to other linux distro's ?
friend has same computer laptop using SUSE I think which doesn't recognize chipset. particularly need r8185 driver.

pup are actually zip files, so change the extension to zip, or while in Puppy/ in console, "unzip file.pup".

pet are actually tar.gz, so change the filename extension and decompress with your favorite program.
