wpa with zd1211 wifi

I've been using a Safecom usb wifi adpator chipset zd1211 with puppy 2.17 for awhile now.It allows me wpa encryption as an option which I consider a must.Yesterday I downloaded and tried puppy 3.00 but the network wizard wont allow wpa encryption as an option for zd1211rw.I assume this is an oversight somewhere.Is there anyway round this?

I got the same problem using a Zyxel USB Stick which is in fact using zd1211rw as well. :cry:

Am interested in a work around too. In the meantime I keep using 2.17.
