Diamond Stealth 3D 2000

#1 Post by KF6SNJ »

For whatever reason, my ATI Rage Pro 128 suddenly failed when I went to boot up the computer. My Nvidia GeForce card also failed (given its physical condition, I'm not really surprised). So I decided to try my Diamond Stealth 3D card, a left over from an old Compaq Presario I once had. It worked alright, but it is limited to 1024x786x16 on a 15" monitor, regardless of whether I use xvesa or xorg. Either way, it does work, and I think for the sake of safety, I will use the xvesa driver for now. I can't necessarily trust this card won't die on me before too long....
