I hope someone out there can use this code. I use it regular for my private datas and my firm. It is so simple that backup really are made more often than before. When I first have configured PuppyMirror, it is a one-button-backup system.

Pbackup has a simple mirror-function, and will allow spaces. The upcoming version Pbackup 2.1 will also be a gui for mirdir, that also handles names with spaces. PuppyMirror will not be futher developed by me.

you could use Pschedule (system-menu). Here you can define whatever task that you want frequently done. - Very easy to use.

This is probably a dumb question but if I mirror a boot able partition will the mirror boot? If not what is the best way to make such an animal ?
To ghost the drive I mean.

I think you need a partition tool (like parted or Gparted) to set the boot flag. Pmirror will for sure not set this flag.

If the drive is mirrored the flag would be set, at least I think it would , it would hopefully ber be a mirror image, identical in every detail. Of course I am not at all knowledgeable about these ghosting programs or if pmirror is similar /. I was hoping to find out if it would work without wasting a disk and rgew eime, I am sure someone around here knows that.

Thanks anyway Sigmund.
