Did not find a driver for the RTL8101E. Driver exists in my Kubuntu install on same computer, but different kernel and so it didn't work when I tried it. Realtek has a download, but it is not compiled.
Linux installs are usually pretty good about working with ethernet cards, so this was somewhat surprising. Additionally surprising was that the NDISWRAPPER install of the Intel Wifi Link 4965AGN was very easy, so WiFi works. (I think Kubuntu uses a native driver for this wireless, though. Intel offers a download, but it also requires the kernel to have the "mac80211" module.)
