burgerspace: SDL based game

#1 Post by muggins »

With this version of burgerspace, you need SDL libs installed, as well as the attached flatzebra library .pet. Run by typing burgerspace, or Menu->Fun->BurgerSpace

Hi muggins!

Thanks a lot. Does this actually work on 217? I'm getting a segmentation fault.

Thanks

Fred

I found that it worked as soon as both pet files were installed. Incredible. It plays almost exactly like the burgertime game it is based upon. Cool.

Fred,

I don't have a 2.17 to test on, but I have a pup3, (which I believe shares the same kernel?). I just rebooted into pup3, installed Mu's LibSDL1.2-forDoom.pup & flatzebra, & then it worked fine. Have you installed these two libraries? If you have, and it's still giving you segmentation faults, what error do you get if you open a console, (Menu->Utility->Rxvt), and enter burgerspace?

For some thought provoking time wasting, I recommend trying RocksnDiamonds. Getting past some of the levels can be quite tricky!
