tuxpaint - is there a .pup?

#1 Post by stib »

I've seen somewhere that there's an edupup release, but I've already got puppy installed, is there a TuxPaint package around? My kids would be eternally grateful if you could point me in the right direction..

TIA

it's available on the grafpup site here:

http://www.grafpup.org/download.php?pat ... s%2F2.0%2F

it's not packaged as a .pet or .pup, but i'm assuming it's an "alien" package.

download it to your computer, then start the puppy package manager, click "to run the Petget package manager", then click the small button, 2nd from the top, "Or, if you have downloaded a Pet package, official or unofficial....", then change directory to where you downloaded & click to install.

also, i think it needs SDL libraries to run. you can try installing mu's sdl .pup & see if that's all it needs:

I'd tried grafpup, but it was always 404. I thought it was a dead website, but it seems like it's back up today. Thanks for the help.

Hi Stib,

Were you by any chance trying at his older URL? When he had Grafpup 1.0.4 it used to be grafpup.com but now with the newer 2.0 version it's become http://grafpup.org/

Even I thought the site was down for the longest time as I was getting the 404 as well and I hadn't been coming here for a few months so I never knew about the change-over. ;)

Amicalement,
