Hi
I'm running Puppy 2.15CE
I want to use xfe file manager as my default file manager. How do I change that?

you can drag /usr/local/bin/xfe on your desktop.
If you want to open it with a specific folder, right click the new icon.
Choose "modify entry" (or similar, my Puppy is german).
Then enter the foldername in the additional entry "arguments to add (for programs)".

Thanks for this thread, I'd never used xfe, but rox was starting to get to me...

Never could stand Rox or other file managers like it. I started using Xfe when it was known as Xwc...X Window Commander.

I installed xfe-0.98.2, then I installed the Shutterbug pup, both from MU's site. I rebooted, they both show up as installed, but I still can't run, I get the missing libFOX error.
Any ideas? Thank you for your generous contributions!

I think for missing libfox you can install this, I'm not exactly sure, but I think I did it once with this one.

Thanks, ymer, I saw that in there but I wasn't sure whether it was the libfox I needed or not. Works fine now!
