mrxvt-0.4.1 tabbed terminal

#1 Post by flavour »

A tabbed terminal without the overheads of Gnome or KDE :)
http://aterm.sf.net/

I simply updated the older 0.3.13 to the latest 0.4.14
./configure --enable-minimal
strip

It installs fine under Rox, but doesn't with PupGet's 'Install Alien Packages' since it doesn't unzip to it's own folder...should it do so? (old mrxvt doesn't)

Haven't yet set it to use 'fixmenus' since that's too cutting-edge, so it does jwm, fvwm95 & icewm manually...(nothing I've done - dotpup.sh had this already)

Comments very welcome since this is my 1st dotpup :)

working fine. !

one thing about using this terminal. The scrollbar is operated by the mouse ( or <shift pgUp/Dn> ) . Left button for down, right for up, press and hold the middle button for normal drag scrolling.

Good package !

Good job Flavour (Flavours first dotpup) can confirm the dotpup is working - program appears under Start / run . . .

Thanks for testing it Rich - I had to go and skanks a relative - so sorry I could not test it for ya (apart from the first test. . . .) I rather like the tabbed terminal . . .

Just download the 0.3.13 dotPup, but instead of installing it, copy it to an empty folder and unzip it with the following command:

Code: Select all

unzip mrxvt-0.3.13.pup
And pirate the dotpup.sh as needed.
