Screenshots page on the Wiki

Perhaps we could switch to shots.osdir.com - but I would like to see the descriptions (e.g. of the puplet they are from etc.) retained.

I think Puppy has a somewhat unfair reputation for being ugly. So I've updated the screenshots page with a view to exploding the myth. I've moved the old page 1 to page 3. Enjoy.

You can bolt a Porche body on a Yugo chassis and drive train, but ...

Nice job :)
http://puppylinux.org/wikka/ScreenShots
Some of the images go right back to th 1.xx series of Puppy 8)

With Ezpup, WNop and Gnome on its way
things are looking good

I wonder if some more JWM themes will emerge?
The defaults in Puppy 3.02 Alpha and Dingo are excellent

Warren any news on the Easter Alpha wiki/webpage/CMS upgrade?

:)

I was thinking in particular of the reviews

Linux Magazine said in 2008 "Compared with other distributions, Puppy Linux looks dated and less attractive"

Happy Linux Thoughts said in October 2007 "I was greeted by the most horrendous desktop I've seen in a long time"
