I have to get WPA working by compiling from source as per a previous topic in this forum advises but a LiveCD session does not appear to have the 'make' command.
How do I compile from source using puppy-linux-2.16 - bearing in mind that I only have internet access from an WinXP environment not a LiveCD puppy session.
TiA,
where is 'make'

Puppy-kernel-source_216.sfs = Kernel Source
devx_216.sfs = compiler, etc.
This too helps:

You will need to create a PUP_SAVE file and put the .SFS files in the same directory as the PUP_SAVE.
Once you reboot you should have compiling support.

Re: where is 'make'
Things change, advice goes out of date. It would be sensible to state the chipset of your card and provide a link to the advice that told you you needed to compile. Someone may be able to save you the effort.dholl2000 wrote:I have to get WPA working by compiling from source as per a previous topic in this forum advises
