How to disable unused network connections?

Subject description: Puppy sees both wired and wireless adapters. I only use one.		  
Most computers now come with both an ethernet wired adapter,
as well as a wifi adapter.
Puppy generally detects both and loads both drivers.
Since I connect to the internet with only one method (wired or wifi)
at a time,
how can I unload the unused driver? (Network wizard has no facility)
Will the unused driver prevent connection via the other driver?

Hello,
You just have to load again the driver you want to unload, and when it asks you if you want to save or unload, just click on unload and it should disappear

When you use the network wizard to connect, Puppy uses the interface you select (ath0, eth0, etc..) I don't think it causes any problem to leave the other one(s) active. When I tinkered with wireless, I didn't do anything to disable the onboard ethernet. It didn't cause any problem that I could see. Then I connected to the router via ethernet cable, and left the wireless card in the computer (removing the antenna.) Still no problem.
