using the forum search tool I tried
"start boot program"
and checked the radiobutton for
"search for all terms"

I tried holding up my eyelids with this but that didnt work
Put it on a piece of paper and tried to shove it in my ear to no avail so I ate the paper ,maybe what to do with this bit of insight will come to me overnight otherwise maybe I'll shove it up my.......nose

Ahh it dawns Hairy Will below helps - It goes in jwmrc file as a line of script -good one
KDE has Autostart file which is always run at startup if you happen to have added that.
Make a sh script file and add the command to the application you want to start.

What, after having eaten it, that's gross!

I wasn't aware of that JWM tag, so I learnt something.

You have to be using JWM as your window manager
edit the hidden file /root/.jwmrc with a text editor
find the startup tags and insert command of your choice
it only runs on jwm start not restart

I haven't tried to start more than one program with it.
