ISO seems to have the correct checksum, burning it now.

links not working (murga.org)
Very nice and very fast!
Lobster, please note that the forum links at the left column of the home page are not working (see below). I guess these can be removed as the Forum link is already at the top of the page.
Search (has link) Discussion Forum (has another link)
Both use the old murga.org/~puppy which is no longer working. It' s now murga-linux.com/puppy
While you're at it, could we put Barry's Developer News higher up, like:
Developer News
Other Puppies
Thanks!

Just downloaded and running now to type this.
Chooselocale still crashes when you go to accept the new location. The file /usr/X11R7/bin/restartwm needs to have added "#" to lines 14 and 15,this fixed it on my machine.
I like the network connection being recognized from startup, only needed to setup Autodchp, on internet in seconds.
thanks to all for this version.
Phil
EDIT
Just tried 2.16Exp2, chooselocale works with NO mod done to the above file.tried looking at difference between the two set-ups but can not spot anything obvious to a newcomer.

I have sent Warren the latest page which looks like so
the links you mention have been removed and Barrys Developer page is higher up under the tag "Coming May 2007 - Puppy Luv 2.16"
Warren may release this in a patch
The latest HTML code is here
http://puppylinux.org/wikka/Puppy215WebPage
and should replace PuppyHome.htm which is in the "puppy-reference" directory
clarified
Lobster:
As to XMMS, I noticed that, too, just whizzing by and not playing the MP3 file - I almost faulted the MP3 file for it.
Ah, OK, thanks, Lobster.Raffy as you can see the web page is for RC1

New Vista Blue uploaded
Vista_Blue_cb88_v0.2 uploaded to Puppy 2.15CE development ideas/requests thread
I see that lobster is still using the old version in RC4
I am typing from puppy 2.15 RC4 in virtualbox and the old Vista_Blue theme is still included
You may consider putting my updated version in the final if you like. I thought whodo was going to remove the old version as it was included by mistake in RC3 and apparently also in RC4 but no complains here about that .
I am still open to suggestions on improvements to the theme what is your opinion?

Re: RC4
Yep. Remaster process stipped out some essential config files because they live under /root - putting them back solves the problem.gray wrote:Xmms doesnt work. There is no sound and the progress slider zips through a track way too fast.
Gxine plays fine (once the mute on speaker is unticked in puppy mixer).
Attached is an archive that contains those files. Simply extract to the directory and xmms will work fine. For those who have RC4 that is all you need to be updated. Puppy 2.15CE Final is uploaded but you won't need to download again unless you want to burn to a new CD.
Cheers
