Mini Volume 0.6 dotPet won't work

Im using Puppy 2.14 and have never had the speaker icon in the tray bar at start up. I installed the mini volume 0.6 pet but cant seem to get it to work. Id appreciate a little help getting this to work.

Sounds like you might have something wrong with your copy of Puppy 2.14 from the get go. There should be on the taskbar, at the bottom right in JWM window manager a speaker, freememapplet, xload, clock and blinky to the left of them, when you have an internet connection.

Left click on the desktop icon "console" and in that terminal type in "mini-volume.tcl".

sh-3.00# mini-volume.tcl

This should show up as a standalone speaker applet on the desktop toward top left. Inform us to what you have.

Using the command you gave me put the speaker icon in the taskbar in JWM, but not in iceWM, which I perfer to use. Ive also noticed that I no longer have ath0 or wifi0 in iceWM. Seems I need to learn how to do some editing.
