#1 Post by ozstar »

Absolute newby trying to install on 32GB USB via Win 10

I am very confused reading all the info so really need the easiest of instructions how to install on my USB stick.

I have downloaded bionicpup64-8.0-uefi.iso but not sure of that is what I need.

My Win 10 1909 is x64.

Sorry to take your time but I would really like to try it.

Thanks

Use Balena etcher to burn the iso to the usb, if it complains that is not bootable then use rufus to burn the iso to usb.
When booting pc press F12 or F11 and choose usb to boot.
Please specify CPU / memory of the pc. (can he support 64Bit?)

You may have to access the computers bios setup if it has UEFI bios.
Usually to be able to boot from a USB stick.
The UEFI bios setup needs to have legacy boot enabled or secure boot disabled or CSM enabled.
Depends on the version of UEFI it has.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
YaPI(any iso installer)
