There are few tricks to deal with this backlight. In your case I suggest to try 1rst appending the following kernel commands. This is done in your menu.lst or grub.cfg

This are posible candidates. But try ONLY 1 at a time. "acpi_backlight=native" should be your best option.

acpi_backlight=native
acpi_backlight=vendor
acpi_osi=! acpi_backlight=native

This is an example for grub4dos menu.lst, lets say original looks like this

Quote:
title Puppy Mybionicpup64 8.0 (sdb2/bionicpup64_8.0)
find --set-root --ignore-floppies --ignore-cd /bionicpup64_8.0/vmlinuz
kernel /bionicpup64_8.0/vmlinuz pmedia=atahd psubdir=/bionicpup64_8.0 pfix=fsck
initrd /bionicpup64_8.0/initrd.gz

Then you add your line
Quote:
title Puppy Mybionicpup64 8.0 (sdb2/bionicpup64_8.0)
find --set-root --ignore-floppies --ignore-cd /bionicpup64_8.0/vmlinuz
kernel /bionicpup64_8.0/vmlinuz acpi_backlight=native pmedia=atahd psubdir=/bionicpup64_8.0 pfix=fsck
initrd /bionicpup64_8.0/initrd.gz

acpi_backlight=native
acpi_backlight=vendor
acpi_osi=! acpi_backlight=native

Ceci est un exemple pour grub4dos menu.lst, disons que l'original ressemble à ceci

Quote:
title Puppy Mybionicpup64 8.0 (sdb2/bionicpup64_8.0)
find --set-root --ignore-floppies --ignore-cd /bionicpup64_8.0/vmlinuz
kernel /bionicpup64_8.0/vmlinuz pmedia=atahd psubdir=/bionicpup64_8.0 pfix=fsck
initrd /bionicpup64_8.0/initrd.gz

Ensuite, vous ajoutez votre ligne
Quote:
title Puppy Mybionicpup64 8.0 (sdb2/bionicpup64_8.0)
find --set-root --ignore-floppies --ignore-cd /bionicpup64_8.0/vmlinuz
kernel /bionicpup64_8.0/vmlinuz acpi_backlight=native pmedia=atahd psubdir=/bionicpup64_8.0 pfix=fsck
initrd /bionicpup64_8.0/initrd.gz

Salut et bienvenu. De mon coté le logiciel Redshift fourni dans Bionicpup64 fonctionne, l'as-tu essayé ? il est dans Menu/Desktop
