How to use Openoffice.org suite in Tahr6.0.6-k4.1.3.0-uefi? Subject description: Frugal folder installation, Kernel: Linux 4.1.30 (i686)
I'm one of those people who disdain both 'LibreOffice' and 'Abiword'.
If given a choice, I'll put up with Abiword, but OpenOffice (to me) is
SO much better.
Why doesn't Puppy agree with me? That was kind of rhetorical.
I downloaded the current version:
The file is:
Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.7_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US.tar.gz.
Unpack in /mnt/home. You'll find a dir of debs packages. Use Pads or Alien2puppy to combine them in a single dir and then sfs. You have to edit the desktop files in /opt/openoffice4/share/xdg.
