Aloha,

Where can I find a simple solution to add a ppa: swi-prolog.org
to ppm or something like this to easy buster.

I lost track of the trees in the woods (joke)

Curious and eager .

Something like:

Code:

pkg add-repo ppa:<repository-name>

I haven't tried it so you'll have to ask sc0ttman how to do it in the following thread:

Pkg - CLI package manager
There is also a wiki:
https://gitlab.com/sc0ttj/Pkg/-/wikis/home

I think that rockedge has tried this. It's not documented in the wiki though so if your brave you can look at the source:
Code:

--add-repo|add-repo)                  [ ! "$2" ] || [ "$2" = '-'  ] && print_usage add-repo || shift; add_repo "$@"; exit 0;;

https://gitlab.com/sc0ttj/Pkg/blob/master/usr/sbin/pkg#L7621

Code:

add_repo(){                       # add Pkg/Ubuntu/Debian/Slackware third-party repos FUNCLIST

https://gitlab.com/sc0ttj/Pkg/blob/master/usr/sbin/pkg#L1749

See also the sourcecode for: ppa2pup_gawk and ppa2pup.

Although, I don't know if pkg works on EasyBuster. It works on josejp2424's DpupBuster and is installed already as part of a new installation.

Maybe post your question also in the thread:

EasyOS Pyro 1.3, Buster 2.2, December 27, 2019

in Bionic I add a repo from a PPA using Pkg to install ZoneMinder:

Code:
# add the ubuntu PPA for zoneminder-master and select repo, install ZM
pkg add-repo ppa:iconnor/zoneminder-master
pkg repo bionic-iconnor
pkg add zoneminder

this method is working well and I have also added several other PPA's using Pkg.
The added repos also show up in the PPM.

Note make a note of the name assigned to the repo as Pkg installs it. The second line enables the repo for Pkg to use

I am not sure if EasyOS has Pkg installed though
