@zagreb

If you are dealing with big files. Create a save folder first.

Hi
Is there a way to run a xorgwizard or similar. I can boot to shell. If i run startx the system will crash since my device requires 800x600. I tried vga=788 and nomodeset. The vga command works when loading but as soon as the graphic server starts i get the black screen. Suggestions? thanks

Did you try to run tazpuppy at default mode? TazPuppy performs autoconfiguration for Xorg

@zagreb
For automount use startmount located at Applications>Setup
Partitions can be found at pcmanfm (thats the behavior of lxde by nature)
Auto reconnect to wifi to be check

I will try it again with the updated iso. I am running different pups on a very old machine. Xorg only might not recognize it. I have the best luck with kernel 3.4.103
I do not enough experience yet to figure out all the commands. If there is a manual xorg wizard those usually work best. Every pup is a bit different. I cannot run newer ones without using vga=788 in grub bootup, tahr arcade and bionic lite. I am able to change the kernel in bionic to new but cannot figure out how to use the old, different challenge lol

Neat though I took your kernel and fdrv and zdrv and put it into bionic and it works with additional drivers. :) i get sound now finally on bionic. I assume the sfs file loads the additional drivers. Thanks.

Im afraid not, because udisks2-volume-monitor already exists in tazpuppy.

Yes it is, just type

Code: Select all

tazpkg -gi vlc

TazPuppy is based from Slitaz which was rolling-release. That means that the libs was newer than previous. then look for later version of tzclock
