Battery indicator in Xenial Pup 64 taskbar not accurate

#1 Post by Nanosecond »

Dear Friends,
Hope all is well...

I'm running Xenial Pup 64 from a flash drive. For some reason the Battery indicator in the taskbar is not accurately displaying the amount of Charge remaining in the Battery. It once read 100% when fully charged, then it dropped to 94% now it seems to be stuck on 92% even though when I run the same laptop in Windows 7 64 Bit. The Battery icon indicates Fully Charged.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Sincerely, Raphael

It would have been better to post this in the Xenial pup thread.

I don't know. What is the exact name of the .iso you downloaded? How did you find it?

Well I've worked with Mike and Mikeslr extensively in the past with Tahrpup and Xenial.

What flash is trying to tactfully say is you are posting a question in the wrong section of the forum.

We the users of this forum have to help to keep some order to it and make it easier to use.
Please help!!

Puppy Derivatives section of the forum is a place to post modified versions of other Puppy versions.

The Xenialpup64 8.0 topic is here

The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected

Um, no, you still haven't got the hang of it. :) You're supposed to add your post to that thread, not post in the same section of the forum as that thread. If I could move your post to the thread, I would, but, sadly, I can't.

Go to the Xenialpup thread that bigpup told you about and click on the Post reply button. That should do the trick.
