I wish you good luck then! ;)
With Debian kernel and initrd.img you can boot any linux and load 9 sfs modules on boot.
With Puppy kernel and initrd.gz you can boot only the Puppy version it is made for and eventually one sfs module on boot if it is named zdrv... or advr... in Saluki for example.
I couldn't get loading multiple sfs with puppy right after much reading and testing so I can't answer your questions better.

I suggest experimenting with kernel arguments, as everyone else doesn't share this problem it is machine specific!, I drew a blank at this stage Are you booting the iso or frugally? As I wrote I am not trying to 'fix' this i am going to start again - just wait for the next iteration ... I will also build a full featured version of Saucy Salamandar in good time.

I had a look at the info you posted, but no alarrm bells went off in my head!
Thanks for taking the time to answer me.

I have recently been working with this really nice Stemsee build and got alsa working and have built a working alsa iso with an updated PPM.

Has a working mplayer for video playback and Audacious for mp3 and some other additions.Installed a terminal urxvt. New wallpapers.

P.s. Found libxtables needs to be installed from ppm.

Hi darry19662018

Blast from the past. Put a smile on my face to see someone getting use out of my historic efforts!

I'm downloading your iso now.

Didn't do much mate just installed missing bits and she worked so then remastered it. didn't want to detract from your work,

Have to say the way it starts is very different - is the kernel a puppy one?

To play an mp3 click on it and Audacious will play it. To start Audacious type Audacious in terminal or Gexec. Mplayer is commandline.
