Up and running on the i5 based Fujitsu S761 (inxi not added yet). Pristine Frugal Grub4Dos install to a Fat32 partition on a Samsung 850 EVO SSD. Boot, resolution, SNS wireless connection, sound, touchpad and time formatting, firewall, all ok. pmcputemp icon in tray either missing or blends in with tray background color. I will probably replace that with cpucurtemp anyway so ... Now to create a fresh savefile and work on integrating pcmanfm, installing my base utils, color shift on the background, mem and disk I/O test, SFS load speed, etc. as i have done with Artful, Bionic, and Cuttlefish. So far so good.

Update: Now set up (on the fresh savefile) with integrated pcmanfm, trash, rightclicks, tray2, tray and wallpaper colors, a few utilities I use from local pets, symlinks to external profiles for Slimjet, Sylpheed, and Parcellite. Still running Slimjet 21.0.8.0. All working together. SFS load time and mem and HD I/O checked and they match upupbb, not upupcc. I didn't (or haven't yet) break or do the inscrutable rollback of JWM this time :D Still all good here.

Cheers,
Pups currently in kennel :D Older LxPupSc and X-slacko-4.4 for my users; LxPupSc, LxPupSc64 and upupEF for me. All good pups indeed, and all running savefiles for look'n'feel only. Browsers, etc. solely from SFS.

Very nice.
I hope I can have the devx.sfs.
I start move on from upupcc to upupdd.
Now downloading the debs file and then make it to sfs or pet using this way:
open rox filer and go to some place in my hd (ext2,3,or4)
make folder inkscape
download inkscape deb and all it's dependencies
go to inkscape folder
press shift+1 then type: mv /root/*.deb .
type ` or f4 to open terminal, then do:

Code: Select all

for i in *.deb;do dpkg-deb -x $i inkscape-dd;done
wait for a while, then make it to sfs using

Code: Select all

dir2sfs inkscape-dd
.

as far as i know, nothing problem appear now.
Thank you, Peebee..

Got it. md5sum? Updated frugal AA install on the i5 based Fujutsu S761 to AB using the delta. Slick'n'quick, just what I like to see. I'm pretty much letting Cuttlefish go at this point as Dingo has better I/O throughput, newer libs, and I have no problems with it to date.

Is this with AA or AB or both?
Do you know if they work in BionicPup32 or UPupCC?
Can you send a screen shot of problem?
Thanks

Worked fine for me in AA and in my AA to AB update (working on tray2). They also had worked correctly in upupcc and upupbb though I couldn't tell you the exact version when I last used them there. In a pristine install of AB, button shows up in list but clicking apply results in this error:

Thank you. peebee. My only experience is with a new download of AB.
As I recall, it worked in BionicPup32. Will check.
--------------
Yes, setting to only one desktop did work in

Code: Select all

~>ls -l /mnt/home/upupbb/
total 199532
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2325645 Sep 1 2018 initrd.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 196481024 Sep 1 2018 puppy_upupbb_18.05.sfs
drwxr-xr-x 9 root root 4096 Sep 2 2018 upupbbsave-sep2
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5501792 Apr 25 2018 vmlinuz
And my try in the new AB had a result like Marv reported.

UPupDD

Getting this dialog-box on every startup and also when I restart graphical server function on Upup-bb-32 and Upup-dd (both AA & AB)?

Also (past several builds) Upup-cc -and now- dd Pburn does not give on-going functions in the dialog box, although the program does what it is meant to do without errors!
