Hi Mike!

Big thx for the comprehensive reply. BTW dont you know
that Adobe Photoshop ( not only it but the whole CS2) is almost free and can be downloaded right from their site.

This Photoshop itself runs flawlessly under wine so I use it to have some basics with my younger son.

here is the link:
https://www.adobe.com/downloads/other-downloads.html

There is also great simple free app called CorelXara but you probably know about it. I put sfs or link here in Visual branch of the forum year or two ago. It is astonishing!

At the end --> Thx for the pet
Will try it asap! Have a good puppy on board!

I like to think it was the first fully comprehensive guide for Puppians on just how to accomplish this feat.....

Puppy Desktop

I'm somewhat new to Puppy Linux, and I finally decided to get BionicPup64 on my HDD. Here's what my desktop looks like now.

Welcome to the forum, Liver. :D You seem to have adapted to Puppy very fast!

I've been using it on and off since December. I used Linux Mint for a while, but I'd always just boot Puppy from a USB.

Now I use Puppy as my main OS, and I am loving it!
I think I found my favorite distro (or family of distros)

Here's my current re-work on radky's DPup 'Stretch' 7.5. I decided that the 'robo-pups' were just a wee bit too 'cute' for my liking..!!

I've also switched from LibreOffice to OpenOffice for this Pup. Amazingly, this version (3.4) refuses to run in some of the older 'buntu-based Pups - gives a symbol lookup error! - yet it runs sweetly in this much more up-to-date DPup.

Explain that one to me....

Jeezus H. f***in' Christ on a bike.....

Why MUST you guys take full-screen, original resolution screen shots from huge, high-res monitors.....then bugger the forum pages up for those of us who only have older, smaller monitors? Huh??

Have you NO consideration.....at all??? (I mean, I've got plenty of 'give & take'; I'm one of the most laid-back guys you'll come across, but this is 'pushing it' a wee bit far, I feel.)

Some of these things are more than 4 times wider than my entire screen, according to the scrollbar. When I find posts/threads like this, I just 'move on', and can't be bothered with them. I can't view them properly, so where's the point in even trying.....?

Your loss, people. Not mine.
