Kernel Release: 4.18.12-lxpup64 running happily, so far just tried in lxpupsc64 18.06 +9 on the intel i5 laptop above. No problems seen. A bonus today, Slimjet 20.0.4.0 now works with my weather loops that had been problematic since 18.0.5.0 so I can now use it, both on 64b and 32b pups. Hoorah!!
Cheers,
Edit: Kernel check on the Fujitsu S6520 core 2 duo laptop with intel i915 graphics. 4.18.12-lxpup64 run in lxpupsc64 18.06 +9, 4.18.11-lxpup64 run in the current current lxpupsc, lxpupbionic and upupbb pups (I migrated the whole kennel from the i5 and that is what I had installed there), and upupcc beta1 run with its stock 4.9.124 32b kernel so far. All boot and run cleanly with good video performance, sound, SNS connection, good idle CPU and mem use and no 'performance lockups or lag'. IIRC that laptop is roughly circa 2009, all intel, and really has no problems with these newer pups and kernels. No trials on the Bay Trail desktops yet.

I recently was reading about some newly developed CPU use (idle, mostly?) efficiency improvements added to the =>17.x kernels - wondering if you guys are seeing any noticeable positive differences in that regard...? (Marv?) Apparently up to 20% increase in laptop battery life in some use cases.
