This second post will have current issues that people have reported
This is a useful memory aid for me and also allows people to see current issues without reading the whole thread.
Issues
installing sfs from spot can break system .... Revolverve page 32
palemoon seems to have issues with some intel drivers ... see http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=1016897
Acer R11 Chromebook keyboard doesn't work ... vtpup page 53
Acer R11 Chromebook eMMC drive not visible to boot process ... jd7654 page 55
xorg memory leak .. possibly to do with particular hardware
rox-filer memory leak possibly contributing to the xorg leak

hi watchdog,
i've had this on one of my computers as well. the kernel has zswap enabled which compresses items in memory that would normally be written to swap, and i think that may have something to do with it.
i'll recompile the kernel for the next release

Edited to correct my error of attribution
Installed my usual stuff. All running without a hitch.
Was really glad to see this 64 bit bionic. I'm confident that 666philb
will fine tune this creation into another solid piece of work! Looking
forward to testing and using bpup64.
Thanks,
Art

Grub4dos just got an update.
Now V1.9.4
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=51697
Looking at the release notes.
It is probably the same as the V1.9.3 in Bionicpup.

Hi 666philb, for completeness, the attached two icons should be placed in /usr/share/doc/findnrun/ (without the fake ".gz" extension). Equivalent symlinks are OK.

Changed kernel, installed proprietary Nvidia driver, updated PPM and installed applications.
Can't add video or audio addon repostories but will play local mp4 videos.
Very useable on this under powered atom processor (taking a screenshot caused the processor useage to spike)
Thanks.

I've just started exploring Bionicpup64. Converted the 32-bit Compatibility SFS to a pet and installed it. I assumed ldconfig via console had to be run so did. I always run Wine. Wine-portable 3.3 (available on Virtualization thread of Additional Software Forum) installed, run and applications under it ran. Installed radky's FbBox 5. Held my breath as it took a while to setup. But seems to be functioning well. Configured PPM and installed xdotool; then ITSMERSH's PaDS 1.14. Posting from builtin Palemoon.

Psync wasn't working properly. It did its report without actually fetching
and correcting time. Tried the one from ppm but it did the same thing.
Both were version 2.1
I quickly found a Psync-2.6.pet on ibiblio which is working ok.

Hello 666philb
Thank you for this, I should be able to retire my highly updated remaster of Xenialpup64 7.0.7.
With BionicPup, on my Braswell N3150 box, I have changed to the intel driver which also required a change of kernel.
I have removed compton from startup because it was causing tearing with media playback
I have installed Gnome-mpv 14 and libmpv 27. That combination is working well.
Now I need to install tvheadend which is always hard to get configured to start with.
Thanks again.
