Only running from live cd so is there no real point trying this unless it`s actually installed somewhere first??
I can copy the "zdrv_214.sfs" file to "/" whilst in the cd but then it "Cant find /root/mount in /etc/fstab" after the second command??

I know it works on a hard drive installation. I think the best is to find a native linux driver from somewhere.
There is a driver for the SMC USB2208 here

I don't know if you will have any luck with it. I will be keeping an eye out for the usb2206 though.
...Or maybe another forum member has some suggestions that we may have missed!?
