ghacks is recommending that users of famed CCleaner not upgrade past v. 5.43. In fact user replies to this article recommend not later than 4.17.4808. It appears from the article that the buyout of piriform has led to this unfortunate situation. A read of the comments is worthwhile for creative end-arounds.
