Don't forget to configure appearance/conditions tab.
There is no appearance/conditions tab, or at least I couldn't find it. :?

Tried to add right-click action. Code was added to file: /root/.config/Thunar/uca.xml, but even after restarting X it didn't appear in the right-click menu.

So, where is that appearance/conditions tab?

Also: isn't there a just a simple or at least not too complicated way to add a right-click option by pinstall script when installing a package?

Ok,

so this X-Tahr has huge problems when changing language, keyboard and timezone in the first settings after first boot. Tried to change it to DE.

As soon as the message of existing language packages appears and one tries to restart X (when recommendation appears), the whisker menu quits. Also another thing (can't recall atm, but probably a panel?) quits (both unexpectedly). Both won't restart and the only way to get rid of those information GUI about whisker menu and 'panel' quits, is to click the remove buttons.

When you click add to create a custom action, appearance conditions is one of two tabs. See screenshot.

Whisker problem is most likely due to the fact that the language files aren't there. Nor are they for any of the xfce packages.

chrome v41 in package manager crashes on me.

this chromium v34 pet seems to work great! This is the only later chrome/chromium working on xtahr for me (so far). I have tried many :D

Get here:
http://smokey01.com/OscarTalks/

Use:
chromium-34.0.1847.137-i386.pet

No, but I'm sure you could use 64bit tahr and install xfce through the repo.

had some issues with Light browser, eg weird playback on Youtube.

resolved by installing Chrome. Works great.

Unexpected Packages

#230 Post by johnywhy »

i'm seeing these packages, but except for Midori,
i don't remember installing them.

i removed them all. So far, everything works.

Anyone know which apps need them?

Timezone Issue

#231 Post by johnywhy »

hi

i'm in Pacific aka America/Los_Angeles.

when i use 'set timezone' app to set my timezone, panel clock shows time 2 hours earlier than local time.

if i then do
ntpdate pool.ntp.org

then panel clock shows 12 hours later than local time.

how to fix?
