I suggest you update PPM data base before you try again. If you have not done this recently, there is a chance the repositories have changed and the data base does not know this. I ran the update, restarted PPM, uninstalled python-pip, restarted PPM, installed python-pip. Same python-chardet error....

I haven't had time to get on the air for a while but miss listening in the background. My primary transceiver needs service - the SDR would fill the listening gap.
