2.2.11: just a couple of issues so far. The .iso won't boot - read the warning - previous versions do. Not mission critical but our old friend requiring a second attempt at wifi activation is back. Otherwise, USB .img version works for all my requirements.

2.2.9.1: more updates:
4th boot-up - speed OK but mouse & k/b temporarily locked up, needed a few CTRL-ALT-BcK&DEL semi-random keypresses before mouse cursor re-appeared and k/b functional again.
Sadly sound returned to zero again but wifi active.

There have been problems:
2nd start-up: incredibly slow, doing things not seen before (not understood by YT!), wifi setting lost, sound set to 55%.
3rd start-up: faster but sound returned to zero, wifi recognised.
Probably needs inspection by guru(s)?

2.2.9.1 Seems OK, except now the setup default sound bar is set to zero. [My preference would be 90-95% since easier to reduce after the initial woofwoof tells sound is working than silence which is indeterminate! Think I said this before.]
