Jemimah, can you repeat what you did with gtkrc to remove red color? I want to use Zuki Blues theme but it looks red

Flsynclient can not save settings, so i can not use scrolling as a I do in Lupu. Can this be fixed. Or may be i could copy a settings file, but I do not know where it is in Lupu

there was a lxlauncher in some puppies for eee pc
and Jemimah had puppylauncher in fluppy I'm not mistaken

Is there a way to set volume notification through xfce4-notification plugin?
Also i need stpci command to have brightness control on samsung laptop. cairo-dock brightness plugin can change the brihtness of the screen, but i want to have this feature without cairo-dock.

I noticed that not all the xfce4 settings are in the base sfs( panel pliguns for example). May be it's better to have them in or make an additional pet?

i experimented a bit without adrive.
xnoise showed some dependancies but when I installed them it complained for some libgst... files. I copied them from adrive but got a segfault.

I like the idea with adrive. That's almost the thing about what i posted in the begining of the thread:). The "sad" thing is that puppy not always installs dependencies for certain apps.

Also i tested some of pixmap themes : sturdust, phacile-blue, gentle-2.0 and polished blue. They look fine but workspaces switcher applet has red color anyway. R...

I unchecked "show icons" in Desktop preferences and added apps I need to panel. So it's not a problem anymore:). everything works for me in 008 except sometimes flash is not recognised on some sites in midori and I can not save touchpad settings. Also the problem with RED color in gtk them...

almost all gtk themes have RED color in saluki. For example when highlighting menu item it becomes red.

I use saluki just for testing and load it once in 2 or 3 days. I wrote before that I added russian keyboard layout and see that flags in the panel change. Russian layout works fine but instead of us layout i have something like russian phonetic:) layout

FF 9 works fine after copyng some libs into /usr/lib as described in another topic on the forum. A bit strange though

as far as I remember opaque panel works if compositor for xfwm is enabled. After that you'll get alpha slider. I'll check that out if it works, I'm not in saluki now
