gtkam
I tried to download the gtkam.pet and for some reason it did not find a lot of .lib files it needed. This is for Puppy 3.01. I just got a cannon A-720 camera and wanted to see if gtkam would work with it. I have no problem reading the SD cards when in my laptop using Pmount, so gtkam is not real hig...

No problem on my tower, it works with everything. A3 loaded on this HP Pavilion zv6000, where A2 would not. A3 does not see the Broadcom BCM43xx wireless card. All versions up to A1 did see it. The only driver that will load for it is the B43. Will have to wait until I can get to SA to test the wire...

Puppy 4.0x and 3DCC
Has anyone done anything with 4.0x and the 3DCC drivers yet?
I have a couple of programs I use with 3.01 that use 3DCC and would like to know if anyone has made it work in 4.0x. One of the ones I use is LeoCAD.

I will be running several under Puppy. Right now I plan to use 3.01, but if 4.0 is operational on my computers I wil...

Model Railroading. My dad got his first toy train when he was 3 years old, is 84 now, still plays with trains.
I have worked in all the scales at one time or another, am now in large Scale, mostly 1/20.32.

Request better ID on boot screen for Derivatives
When one is trying out different derivatives of Puppy it would help to have the boot screen have the derivative name and derivative version number on the first line, not the generic 'Puppy' version that you made the derivative from. This would also help new users that run into problems so they know ...

There are two programs I use under Win 2000. The first is Calendar Creator Plus, going back to 1993. I have not been able to find a Linux program that give me the Print options that CC+ does. The second is Cadrail by Sandia Software. I use it for my hobby of model railroading. Yes there are Linux pr...

Sage, Sorry you talked about the 'great health care systems' in the world. My sister is married to a Canadian and lives up there. She has the same back problems our mother had when she was alive. My sister was on a 6 to 8 year waiting list to have the operation she needed. The drugs they were giving...
