I think if you use regular woof-CE instructions it will work, and it will automatically grab a kernel built from dpup stretch during ./3builddistro-Z. It sounds like wiak's script is somehow out-of-sync with the choices in woof-CE (which I think someone reported before), might make more sense to rep...

Why would you do Win 10 updates? All Windows updates 7 8 and 10 are BS. Chris. On the used 2-in-1 the trackpad didn't work, I was told by someone that updating might find the correct driver or fix it and that's what I should try first, but it didn't fix anything. When I bought the new 2-in-1, the t...

Yes a quick search showed a lot of 75% volume set in /etc/init.d/10alsa for me too https://github.com/puppylinux-woof-CE/woof-CE/blob/testing/woof-code/rootfs-skeleton/etc/init.d/10alsa#L13 edit: Looking at the code, maybe it stores it into /etc/asound.state? I think the 10alsa stuff has been change...

@rcrsn51: PeasyWiFi v4.2 worked like a charm. I scanned for Open connections, it found 2 and I selected the right one and I was in. I brought an older Pentium M / ipw2200 laptop to the mall today too to see if it would have the same issue in SNS, but SNS always found only around 17 Cell networks usi...

SNS and places with over 80-100 wifi signals
I had trouble connecting using SNS at the mall using a recently built Slacko64 with woof-CE, and found out it was because "iwlist $INTERFACE scan" cuts out all the information beyond around the 80-100th signal and then SNS borks because it only has partial information for the last one it's...

Hi oui,
Yes, I think Tahr/Xenial use a special version where you can move the columns. I remember being able to do this in Slacko after "upgrading" to the one by woodenshoe-wi: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 247#996247

I tried compiling the DOTconfig-4.14.20-Atom-cherrytrail config for 4.14.48 x86_64. After adding aufsv=4.14 to build.conf it compiled, though upon reboot I got this message on a Core2Duo: This kernel needs a CPU feature you don't have: movbe I guess finding a more generic 4.14 config would have made...
