Those are gorgeous vicmz! Thanks so much for sharing those with us! Really awesome indeed! In the near future when I have more time I'd like to find the full sets of these so that I might update my gtkrc.mine file for system-wide icons and not just for the desktop/menu. :) ( I think you know...

Hi Don, If you installed version 528.005 found on the first page of this thread - then you won't need any of the mentioned updates. Those that you mentioned, "001", "002", etc., were all made for version "528". Version 528.005 is all of those updates combined into one ,...

Fascinating... doesn't do it for me. I wonder why? By the way: I'm a "leftie", meaning I mouse lefthanded. So I tried all the way around ( left AND right ) and still nothing happened.

Guess this will just add to the confuzzlement?

From one Indian to another - I love that mapper site!! :D That's really awesome, and you're so right on how it's so much faster than Google Earth - even faster than Google Maps and it doesn't hog down my computer resources like "G.Maps" does either! Hmm... I wonder just how they do that? B...

WOW Warmock! You should package that theme up and offer it under "Eye-Candy" for those of us running metacity/fbpanel as well! That is one fantastic theme! Simply stunning! Who would ever believe that a small distro like Puppy could look this beautiful like the "big boys"...

Thanks for the feedback James as it was very much appreciated! :D I've always been tempted to try the same method myself, both with Gnome and with KDE4 - although I suppose if one has a hard drive install the chances of success would be greatly improved by simply downloading/installing everything th...

Like I did say disciple: "Oh well... what would I know? I'm only a "has been" themer from very, very, many years ago. lol!" So to me it looks "professional" like the other distros I've seen and tested in the past. However, I've been using Puppy exclusively now for the p...

That's a gorgeous desktop shot AmiMurozi  And those 24px icons throughout the menus really DO go a very long ways towards giving Puppy an over-all cleaner, far more professional, "Big Boy Linux" look for sure! Now too bad our distro didn't come looking like this by default! :( I thi...

Hi Jasper, Oh yes... I use Dillo a lot - especially around here on the forum, mainly due to it being so lite-weight and also because of its speed. If I must say so myself, now that I think about it, I'd have to say that it's the fastest browser bar none on the net. However, its rendering does leave ...

I downloaded the remake offered here and on my Slacko 533 it doesn't save bookmarks either. But you're right Gnuxo - it's a nice-looking and VERY FAST lite-weight browser. One of the better Qt-based webkit browsers I've used to date so far. Now too bad there wasn't a way to make a static build of it...

Where did you get your KDE4 module from James? That looks pretty "snazzy" if I must say so myself! :D Is it the one from Battleshooter perhaps? ( I have that one installed in my Lucid 528-005 and 3HD ) I'd love to be able to use it but I have some troubles with it from time-to-time so I ma...

But this is really neat and something I've searched around for a long time. Thank you very much agai...

Saintless? The "right-copy paste" of which you speak can be easily done with the file manager XFE found in the "Additional Software" section of this forum under "File Managers". Not only that but XFE can be made either a two-pane/three-pane file manager, or can even be ...

Hi vicmz, In the last two screenshots you posted, what was the name of that font you used? - and do you think you could possibly make it available here for download? That was one VERY attractive font! Perhaps one of the best I've seen since the "Cherry Cream Soda" jemimah used in Saluki! 8...

Thanks for posting this app here! I've always enjoyed these little types of programmes. In fact, I used to have a little javascript one that loaded into a web browser on the desktop - worked on any platform of course - but lost it over the years. Foo? Could this be used with the Qt-based Razor-Qt desktop we've spoken about in another thread ( where I was having some difficulties ) as the window manager in place of Openbox, do you think?
